Attended a job where a set of French door handles would not lift to lock door due to spindle port failing which was probably just due to fair wear & tear these parts don't usually last forever unfortunately, New part sourced & fitted the same day leaving doors operating as good as new.
Client mentioned their window handle had failed & would not lock window leaving customer at risk from intruders in an area that has experienced a recent spate of thefts and burglaries & having been a recent victim of one such thefts it was understandable customer was extremely keen to have the issue resolved as swiftly as possible
With a bit of manipulation was able to temporarily lock window secure whilst new window gear mechanism was sourced & ordered, Part was particularly tricky to fit as the whole window needed to be removed from its from its frame but the whole job was done pretty swiftly & at a very very competitive price.
